Firstly you should know that playing these games need some requirements.
-At least 1GB ram to run the games smoothly
-At least 500MB Graphic Card
-DirectX 9.0c
-And at least a 56kps
Internet connection
First on my list is:
Maple story
Website:http://maplestory.nexon.net/WZ.ASPX?PART=/MainMy Rating: 4/5
Maplestory is a 2D-side scroll er game. This means that you move up,down and side to side. This game may appeal to gamers who watch anime or read manga due to the cute graphics and since the characters are “chi-bi” looking meaning having a slightly bigger head than their body.Gameplay
The controls for this game is very simple, using the arrow keys and keyboard as shortcuts and using the mouse to click. Classes and skills are very interesting and have many to choose from. Some classes are available are Warrior, Theif, Archer, Mage, Aran, Cygnus Knights and the latest Evan.(This is the North American version [Global]) The leveling system is very simple. You gain Exp ( Experience ) by killing monsters, doing co-operate missions with other online players (Party Quests/ PQ’s) and most obvious doing quests. The level cap right now is levels 1 to 200 and there are 4 current job advancements for each class. There are plenty of areas to discover throughout the continents of Victoria Island and Ossyria.
Second on the list is:Flyff
Website:http://flyff.gpotato.com/My Rating: 3/5
Flyff (Fly For Fun) is like maplestory but is a 3D game instead. This means you can see your character in all dimensions, you can fly, swim etc. It is an intersting game due to the flying system it has. You can buy a board or broom and fly int he sky and fight with monsters and reach some incredible speeds.
GamePlayIt is more complicated to maplestory but all you really have to do when in combat is click and press your skills. There is a PvP system where you head to an arena and request someone and duel and you fight them. You can gain various ranks that show next to your name as you get better. It also contains co-operative missions where you go to a dungeon and defeat the boss.
And lastly on the list is:DragonNest
Website:NoneAlthough this game is not yet out in North America it is surely a game everyone should look out for. It has a great combination of PvP and PvE (Player Versus Environment). It has only started to spread around South Korea where it first started. In 2010 China had released their Open-Beta. And it is suspected to be released somtime at the end of 2010 or start of 2011 for North America. I’ve looked around and watched a few gameplay videos and it seems to be a combination fo Maplestory and World of Warcraft. It is not auto – attack like wow but uses the Maplestory attacking system where you press when you want to attack. The interesting aspect about this game is that your armor has nothing that contributes to dodge rating but you have to move your character to dodge attacks, thus requiring alot more skill than normal games.
Thanks for your reading, hope you can like this article and enjoy playing MMORPG!
